Alyssa Michelle Stephens also known as Latto was born in Columbus Ohio on December 22, 1998. Her parents are Misti Pitts and Shayne Stephens. She went to Lovejoy High School in Clayton County Georgia where she faced bullying for being “light-skinned.” This experience led her to adopt the stage name Miss Mulatto when she started rapping inspired by the term “mulatto.”
