Who is Krista Hazlett?
Born on April 26 1980 in Boonville MO Krista Hazlett was the daughter of Mark Hazlett and Marsha Bryan. She began her educational journey at Zion Lutheran School where she completed her eighth-grade education.
Subsequently, Krista attended Bunceton High School from 1994 to 1998 before embarking on her higher education at State Fair Community College. At the college, she pursued her passion for Computer Aided Drafting and Design eventually earning an Associate’s Degree. Krista’s dedication to her studies exemplified her commitment to personal growth and academic excellence.
Krista Hazlett’s vibrant spirit and zest for life will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Friends and loved ones fondly recall the treasured memories they shared with Krista reminiscing about the summer of 1999.
Ashlee Martin one of Krista’s closest friends nostalgically recollects their adventures from playing dominoes in Bunceton with Krista’s grandmother to sneaking beer into the fair by ingeniously concealing it in their jeans. Ashlee reminisces “I am honored to have been able to be in the presence of someone so fun to be around but also someone so kind and that always had a smile on your face.”
Krista Hazlett Funeral
In this time of profound loss, Krista Hazlett’s family has made arrangements for visitation and a funeral ceremony to honor her memory. The visitation will be held at the ZAC building on Tuesday, May 23 2023 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
The funeral service officiated by Pastor Paul Weisenborn will take place on Wednesday, May 24 2023 at 2 pm. Following the service, Krista will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Our deepest condolences go out to Krista’s family during this difficult period.
