Last month, the “Woman” hitmaker turned heads with an edgy outfit: The rapper wore a red dress and had her body painted red and covered with over 30,000 crystals. Even her face and shaved head were completely covered. Internet fame Haley Kalil (30) is now also appearing in New York in a glittering alien look. Her fans are disappointed with the Doja costume.
“I turned into Doja,” admits the beauty on Instagram. She admired the rapper’s unusual styling in Paris and really wanted to try it out for herself. She shared this adventure, up to the tedious peeling off of the paint layer, on several platforms. Even though Haley admits who inspired her, the internet isn’t exactly happy! “It’s just sad,” reads one comment. “Would it be bad if I dressed up as a clown and threw a cake at her?” asks another.
The 30-year-old justified her decision in advance with: “Everyone should wear something crazy at least once in their life!” But even a fan who finds her look successful makes it clear: “I wish you had made an effort to create your own look. You are creative enough! I want to see what your vision is!”
