The transparent wedding dress of the actress contributed to the glamorous and publicity aspect of the event. The couple initially had two children: Zoltán Anthony Hargitay, born on August 1, 1960, and Miklós Jeffrey Palmer Hargitay, born on December 21, 1958; a third child, Mariska Magdolna Hargitay, was born in January 1964.
