Brooks Koepka was born on 3 May 1990 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He grew up in a family that was sports-mad, and this will be one of the first things that will drive him and his brother Chase Koepka to play golf. Surprisingly, their father Bob Koepka played baseball, and the boys loved the sport too when they grew up.
For his education, the man who would grow up to be a great golfer went to Cardinal Newman High School, and from there he went to Florida State University.
What got him into the spotlight and kept him there is his career as a golfer. He started out as an amateur golfer who continued to play in his school days. By the time he was 13 years old, Brooks had already taken the sport very seriously and he never stopped.
Brooks had his first PGA tour in 2014, which he finished in third place before finishing fourth at the U.S. Open, giving him the chance to play in his first Masters.
