There is no doubt that Bailee Madison is one of the most talented and successful actresses her generation has ever seen. She had her breakout year 2007/2008 when she played the role of May Belle in Disney’s Bridge to Terabithia.

Madison was born on October 15, 1999, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the last child of a family of 7, her mother’s name is Patricia. Madison has two sisters, including actress Kaitlin Riley, and four brothers (including Connor and Sean).
In her interviews, she has shown that she has a strong bond with her sisters. Madison has revealed that she and her sisters wore exactly the same pajamas as children. She described this as her favorite tradition.

Madison’s mother was instrumental in her early involvement in show business. At the age of only 2 weeks, Bailee was already doing commercials. Her first commercial was for Office Depot. Then she added Disney, SeaWorld, and Cadillac.
Bailee started acting at the age of 5 years. She made her feature film debut in Lonely Hearts (2006), a film based on the true story of the infamous “Lonely Hearts Killers” from the 1940s. However, it was her role in Disney’s Bridge to Terabithia that gained her widespread recognition. Bailee rounded out 2007 with the independent film look.

Bailee’s career received a further boost in 2009 after she played the lead role in Isabelle Cahill in “Brüder”. Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman played with her parents. Madison received rave reviews for her acting performance and received her first Saturn Award nomination for Best Young Actor and a BFCA Critics’ Choice Award for Best Young Actress.
She played the young Jessica Alba in An Invisible Sign. Her other films in 2010 included: “Conviction” and “Letters to God”.
In 2008 she had a small role in the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. 2011 was another big year for Bailee. She played the role of Maxine Russo in 6 episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place.

Her role as Sally Hurst in Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark was her first leading role in a horror movie.

Since 2012, Bailee has gone silent on the big screen and appeared in independent and small budget films, including Annabelle Hooper and The Ghosts of Nantucket, the short film The Magic Bracelet, The Night Before Halloween, and The Strangers: Loot by Night.
While her activity on the big screen declined, Bailee remained relatively active on television. She got her first regular series role in Trophy Wife in the role of Hillary Harrison. Since the second season of The Fosters, Bailee has played the recurring role of Sophia Quinn.
