She swaps her jet-set life for mommy’s everyday life! Supermodel Gigi Hadid (27) has been the mother of little Khai since September 2020. Her daughter’s father is ex-One Direction singer Zayn Malik (30), from whom the beauty split in a flash in October 2021 because he is said to have become violent in an argument with her mom Yolanda. Since then, the international model has been a single parent and spends a lot of time with Khai. Gigi has wanted to settle down ever since her daughter was born!
Khai was born during the coronavirus pandemic, giving Gigi plenty of time to think about what will happen when she’s free to move around again. “I decided I needed a more settled life where I’m not in a different country every week,” the model told Elle. “While having a daughter has changed my life and made me feel more settled, it has also made me appreciate chaos,” she continued.
Gigi is the founder of a fashion brand and finds the workflow as a creative director to be “very stabilizing”. “I’m so excited to go into an office with the same people every day,” she explained, adding, “It’s a new experience for me, but it was the right time because I was ready for it!”
