John Easterling mourns the loss of his wife. Olivia Newton-John (73) died in August last year after fighting cancer. The multiple Grammy winner left her fans and family in deep sorrow. Among other things, her husband John, to whom she has been married since 2008. Now he given his first TV interview since Olivia’s death and revealed: John is still talking to her.

Together with Olivia’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi (37), who comes from a previous marriage, John was a guest on the “Today” show. The entrepreneur admitted that he still felt his late wife “late in the evening or early in the morning”. “And then, you know, I’ll walk around the house or throw the ball for the dogs and just talk to her out loud,” he said.

On August 8, Olivia passed away at the age of 73. Before that, she fought breast cancer for years and dedicated her life to researching against it. “Olivia has been a symbol of triumph and hopes for over 30 years as she shares her journey with breast cancer,” John wrote when announcing her death on Instagram, emphasizing the huge inspiration the Grease actress had been.
