We are not yet done with Mr. Willard Smith Jr., he is as interesting as possible, but today we will look beyond him and to some equally interesting people. Don’t worry, all this will bring us back to our dear Willard again, because we’re going to find out about his family, and not just his immediate family, we’re also going to find out about Mom and Dad Smith. Don’t move as we move from the younger generation to the older generation of the Smith family.
Will Smith’s Kids
The actor has three children in total, his eldest son was born from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino and the last two are the product of his union with his current ‘Bae’ Jada Pinkett Smith.
Will Smith’s Kids; Trey Smith
You may wonder who this guy is, we barely hear from him, but he is an integral part of the Smith clan. Born, Willard Carroll’Trey’ Smith III on November 11, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, USA, Trey is Will’s first son. Trey made her first appearance at the age of 6 in a monochrome video of her father’s video for the song Just The Two Of Us.
Like other famous children, Trey chose to follow in her father’s footsteps rather than go to university, with a full sports scholarship, if you can add. You can see it in the films The Speech (2008) and David Blaine: Real or Magic (2013). He also tries to find his place in the music industry and makes him function as an accomplished DJ who performs under the name of AcE stage.
You can also see him with his brothers and sisters in his 2012 video clip for his single Find You Somewhere.
Will Smith’s Kids; Jayden Smith
You certainly know this name, because it is no stranger to the public. Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, born on July 8, 1998, is Will and Jada’s first child. You may remember him from the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid and some films in which he played with his father.
Second brother Smith is known for his “weird” view of the world and his mission to blur gender roles. Yes, people, if you spot a boy, of non-Scottish origin, wearing a skirt, it’s probably him. He is a believer in “gender fluidity” and is as liberal as one can imagine.
Will Smith’s Kids; Willow Smith
The last child and only daughter of the Smith clan were born Willow Camille Reign Smith on October 31, 2000. Like her siblings before her, she follows in her parents’ footsteps and shows the business is officially the Smith family business. Willow made her first appearance on our screens in 2007 in the movie I Am Legend, you may also remember her successful 2010 single ‘Whip My Hair’ which reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
She has a lot more in her wallet, but these days, the starlet has definitely improved her game, she made the cover of Teen Vogue last May and is currently an ambassador for the Chanel brand. More recently, she partnered with Kendall Jenner on a new anti-cyberbullying campaign for garage magazine in collaboration with Snapchat. It’s fun, it’s trendy and above all, there’s a good message, ‘Be cool, be nice’.
Will Smith’s Wife
Most Hollywood celebrities have been married and divorced, some even more than once. So it is not strange at all that Willard II is on the second wife. Since we already know Will Smith’s Kids, it’s time to meet the wives.
Will Smith’s Wife; Sheree Zampino
They were married in 1992 and had their son, Trey, the same year. According to Sheree Zampino, she was unhappy in her union with the Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor and that is what led to their divorce in 1995. She is still a large part of her sons’ lives and has a good relationship with Jada and her children.
Earlier this year, the late Alexis Arquette made some pretty serious allegations against Will, Jada, and Sheree. The transgender actress claimed that the couple broke up because Sheree caught Will with her lover. In addition, he said that Sheree’s silence was purchased after the divorce. The 48-year-old woman sent him a well-written answer on Facebook that put everything in perspective.
Since her divorce, Sheree has proven that she can take care of herself. She founded and owns the Sheree Elizabeth LLC skincare company and played in the successful Hollywood Exes TV series for three seasons before it was canceled in 2014.
Will Smith’s Wife; Jada Pinkett Smith
Will and Jada have been #Goals since they were married in 1997 and 19 years later, amidst constant rumors of a break-up, the two are still together. Remember Lisa Wilkes, Will’s girlfriend from Fresh Prince of Bel Air? It could have been Jada, she auditioned but didn’t get the part because she was too small. Will didn’t seem to care about his size.
Apart from her brilliant acting career, she is an accomplished businesswoman and is involved in many charities.
Will Smith’s Parents
Will was born into the family of Willard Carroll Smith, Sr and Caroline Bright and they lived in the Wynnefield area of West Philadelphia. Willard Sr. was a refrigeration engineer and his wife an administrator of the Philadelphia School Board. Will maybe the most famous, but he wasn’t the only child the couple had together.
He has three brothers and sisters; the firstborn is a sister Pamela, who is four years older, and the twins Harry and Ellen, who are three years younger. Their family was torn apart in 1981 when Willard Sr. and Caroline separated but only in 2000.
Both his parents are still an important part of his life and he is not afraid to show it.
