Zampino was born as Sheree Elizabeth Zampino on 16 November 1967 in Schenectady New York. Her father Les Zampino worked for a theatre company and her mother worked for a financial company. When Zampino was a child her parents divorced and Zampino lived with her father.
At a very young age, she nurtured her passion for fashion. After graduating from high school she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where she learned more about fashion and also studied business to help her make money from her passion.

Since her marriage to Will Smith pushed her into the daylight Zampino has managed to stay around her collecting several concerts in the process. She started exhibiting in 2012 when she was chosen as one of the women who played in the real Hollywood Exes VH1 series. A chronicle of the life of a group of women separated from their famous husbands who are trying to start a new find someone new and grow in their companies. The show lasted about 3 seasons and the last episode was aired on July 2, 2014.

The actress followed her passion for fashion after graduating high school and enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1984 completing a business program there. She was awarded a diploma in both business and fashion design from FIT two years later. Subsequently, she furthered her studies at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising located in Los Angeles.

Zampino was married and divorced twice. After a long relationship with Will Smith, the couple tied the knot in 1992. According to sources she met during the filming of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” by Smith. As a couple, Will and Sheree participated together in red-carpet events.

In 1995 about three years after the wedding the couple filed for divorce. Two years later in 1997, Will Smith married Jada Pinkett Smith while Sheree remained unmarried until 2007 when she tied the knot to a former NFL player Terrell Fletcher’s reverse pacemaker.
Fletcher performed with her at Holywood Exes. The Couple was married until July 2014 when they parted. They then applied for a divorce finding irreconcilable differences. Zampino asked for alimony but it was not clear how much she received from the former San Diego Chargers running back.
Despite Sheree’s divorce from Will Smith they both remained friends and have since supported each other. Zampino jumped to Smith’s defense in 2016 when actress Alexis Arquette posted a malicious message on Facebook claiming Will Smith was gay. This was after Jada Pinkett Smith called on Afro-Americans to boycott the Oscars.
However, Smith’s ex-wife Sheree did not waste her time firing at the actress. She posted a video on Facebook explaining the real reason for their divorce and why Smith is not gay.
“My marriage ended not over any infidelity. I didn’t find Will in bed with a man and I didn’t find him in bed with a woman. It just didn’t happen! Will was straight in 1992 and he’s straight in 2016. That just kind of is what it is. However, our marriage ended because we were so young. We were the same age then that our son is right now. It’s just a lot of responsibility. Marriage isn’t easy, especially at that age. Will was becoming bigger and bigger with his career. I’m becoming smaller and smaller. I just didn’t have the tools. We didn’t have the tools to make it work. I left because I was unhappy. It’s really that simple.”

Two unsuccessful marriages from Zampino produced two children. A few months after marrying William a son named Willard Smith III (alias Trey Smith) was born on November 11, 1992.

In an interview given during her time at Hollywood Exes Zampino explained why Trey is not as famous as his step-siblings.
“Trey was raised differently – in another home. Trey doesn’t really like daylight. I don’t want to say that he is more grounded but just had a different upbringing. He was not so exposed to the whole Hollywood aspect of life. Much of this was by choice because dad wouldn’t have left him outside. He has insight and does not like anything that is not true or authentic.
Zampino’s second marriage to Terrell Fletcher resulted in another child a daughter named Jodie Fletcher. However, unlike Terry Zampino is mysterious about Jodie and hardly writes about her on social issues.
