Who Is Joanne The Scammer (Branden Miller)?

Brandon Miller was born in 1991 to African-American parents of Puerto Rican origin. However, he was adopted by the white couple Veronica and Buddy and grew up in Hopewell, a small town in Virginia. As an adolescent, Miller dreamed of becoming an Internet-famous entertainer like Chris Crocker. But his world collapsed when he received the shocking revelation at the age of 17 that he was actually adopted. This rude awakening left him desperate, and for a while, he tended to leave home. When Miller turned 18, he left home, and in an effort to improve his life, he pursued a career in the adult film industry.

Branden Miller’s first upload dates back to November 4, 2011, when he introduced the character Miss Prada, a transsexual singer diva, and occasional sex worker. Although quite successful, Miller found it difficult to develop the character of Miss Prada over the years, and so his job in the porn industry remained his main source of income. The talented comedian finally gave another chance for a career in social media, this time on Instagram with the character “Joanne the Cheater”, which he debuted in a short clip released on December 14, 2015.
