Many insisted that there was nothing special about being Sara Hopkins until her vine videos failed to attract attention and her snapshots refused to make a meaningful impression.
It was agreed in all circles that Miss Hopkins is a phenomenal Viner, just as she is a snapshot star. She is so good at what she does that she was nominated for the 2016 Snapchatter of the Year award. Sara is known for imitating dolphin sounds in her vineyards. In a February 2016 story, Creative Loafing called her “the queen of social media”.
Unknown to most people, she is actually a trained divemaster and received her license in 2012. What is still unknown about the star? Let’s find out, shall we?

In 2014, she became a news reporter/journalist for WWAY News Channel 3 and later became a presenter/director for special projects. In one of her videos, she claimed to have won an award for her journalism. As fate would have it, the lady decided to give up her journalistic career to take a full-time job as a Viner. Currently, she is a Snapchat star with many fans.

How She Become a Vine Phenomenon and Snapchat Star
Vine was founded in June 2012 and was acquired by Twitter, and an American microblogging website, in October 2012. With the launch of this 6-second social video sharing application, Sara Hopkins began making and uploading vines.
Soon her fan base began to grow and it became really stressful to follow both her social influence and her career as a news anchor. Since Sara already had a fairly large fan base of up to 950,000 vines, she had to make the hard decision to keep one career and leave the other behind. Her family stood up for her and supported her. So she gave up her day job as a journalist/newscaster to become a full-time star in Vine.
This decision opened up many opportunities for her, and the first came shortly after Sara became part of the Niche platform, which was designed for content authors. On this platform, she met Robby Ayala, who was just another Vine star for her. The two had a lot in common as Robby also made the big decision to drop out of law school and become a full-time Viner. Fortunately, things turned out well for him too.
On October 27, 2016, it was announced that the upload option on Vine would be disabled. Users were given the option to view and/or download videos that had already been uploaded. This changed things for many Vine stars, as the really smart ones switched to other social media platforms.
Sara immediately started posting her videos on Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, Musical.ly, and of course Twitter. She kept her username ‘SayHop’ for all her accounts. Her beloved fans and many more followed her on these platforms, especially on Snapchat, where she quickly gained recognition as a Snapchat star. Sara has a rating of 4.8/5 out of 23 on Snapchat.
