Even though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on. If you want to talk about musical innovators and pacesetters, you cannot leave out his name. Before we get to the real heart of the day, Prince’s height, weight, and body measurements let’s look at some facts about this iconic musician.
Prince” was not his stage name. Yes, the musician was actually born on June 7, 1958, Prince Rogers Nelson being the son of two musical parents.
His father was John Nelson, a jazz pianist, and his mother was Mattie Shaw, a social worker, and singer. His name was actually inspired by his father’s jazz combo.
Although he had no stage name, the artist had quite a few nicknames. He was known as The Kid, The Purple Purv, The Minneapolis Midget, Alexander Nevermind, and Christopher Tracy, and as a child he was known as a skipper.
He was a Jehovah’s Witness, and we are talking about the whole package, he even went door to door preaching.
Musical abilities are definitely in his blood. The artist wrote his first song with the title Funk Machine when he was just 7 years old.
When he was 10 years old, he danced on stage with James Brown.
His fan base is so loyal that they made him a spin-off from Wikipedia. Princepedia was created by fans a few years ago and is still a popular source among Prince fans.
Prince wrote songs for a number of other artists and even wrote more songs than the Beatles.
He even recorded an entire album as his female alter ego Camille, which was never released.
In the week of 27 July 1984, Prince led the box office, single and album charts with his film “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry” respectively.
On April 21, 2016, Prince died after accidentally taking an overdose of the opioid fentanyl. He was found in the morning in an elevator in his Paisley Park Studios without any reaction.

Prince’s Height
Nobody needs to tell us that he has definitely earned a place on the list of superstars of his decade. The artist stood, rather briefly if we may add, at 5 feet 3 inches. It was suspected that he was rather unsure about his height, and can you blame him?
5 feet 3 inches is extremely short for a man… oh, it’s also extremely short for a woman. Even worse than the fact that he looked like a dwarf is the fact that until after his death, he was mistakenly thought to be 1.5 feet 2 inches His true height was published in his autopsy report.
All we can say now is that he proved that big things can come in small packages. We also don’t know if it was his refusal to adhere to genres or gender boundaries when it came to clothing, or if it was his need to add an extra inch or two to his natural height, but this fellow could swing a pair of heels.
According to the New York Times, during the four decades, he was in public, the high heel was the continuous line of his wardrobe, the consistent basis on which he layered all kinds of style and character changes. According to the star he wore it not because he wanted to be taller, but because “women like it”.

Prince’s Weight
Given his overall small stature, it would not be wrong to assume that Prince did not weigh much. In his prime, he weighed at least 55 kg, but after his death, his autopsy report showed that he weighed 50 kg. Apparently, in the days before his death, he was so ill that his bodyguard had to carry him out of his private jet.
His body cook revealed that he hardly ate before his death, in the months before his death he suffered frequently from sore throats and seemed to lose weight. There was some additional speculation about the artist’s state of health, apparently, he was diagnosed with AIDS 6 months before his death and refused treatment.
We do not know how true this was, but it may have contributed to his weight loss.
