Lil Baby whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones is an American rapper born on 3 December 1994. He became famous after dropping his mixtapes Harder than Hard and Too Hard in 2017. The first mixtape had a song called My Dawg which got him on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time.

He signed with Quality Control Music which is part of Motown and Capitol Records. His first studio album Harder Than Ever came out in 2018 and reached number three on the Billboard 200 chart. Jones grew up in Oakland City a southwest Atlanta Georgia neighborhood. His dad left when he was only two years old so his mom raised him and his two sisters by herself. Unfortunately, Jones dropped out of high school in ninth grade and got involved in selling drugs.
