Symere Bysil Woods known by their stage name was born on July 31, 1995, in the Francisville neighborhood of North Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In 2010 Lil Uzi Vert started rapping after hearing his classmate William Aston freestyle over a remixed Chris Brown song. At that time Uzi Vert wasn’t initially interested in rapping. Together with Aston and another friend they formed a group called Steaktown and just to make money started performing under the name “Sealab Vertical”.
