Kyla Ross is a gold and silver medalist of the USA and former Olympic elite gymnast. She has always been known for breaking old records and setting new ones with her performance. Kyla Ross was born on October 24, 1996, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of her beloved parents Jason and Kiana Ross. She has two younger siblings, Kayne Ross and Mckenna Ross. Kyla’s pedigree is mixed, as her father is of Japanese and African-American descent, while her mother is a mixture of Puerto Rican and Filipino descent. She attended Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, California, and graduated in 2015. While growing up, she was no ordinary child. According to her parents, Kyla was born with triceps, she had already formed quads, she looked like she had trained in the womb. She always climbed to the top of a jungle gym and did stunts that children her age wouldn’t imagine or even try.

As already mentioned, her parents are Jason Ross and Kiana Ross, and both are cross-racial. Her father, Jason, is of African-American and Japanese descent, and her mother is of Filipino and Puerto Rican descent, which makes Kyla Ross cross-racial in every way. Career Beginnings
Kyla Ross began taking gymnastics classes when she turned three years old at the Greenville Gymnastics Training Centre in Greenville, South Carolina. Her career choice led her to the Richmond Olympics in Virginia, the National Gymnastics Training Center in Aliso Viejo, and Gym-Max Gymnastics in Costa Mesa, California. Her early career start brought her early success. In just two years – between 2005 and 2007 – she won five state and two national titles. At the 2008 National Junior Olympic Championships, she finished second after winning the balance beam, floor gymnastics.
At the Cover Girl Classic 2009 in Des Moines Iowa, she took first place in the overall ranking with 57,000 points. In August of the same year, she took first place in the all-around at the Visa Championship in Texas, beating another phenomenal gymnast, Bridgette Caquatto, with a two-day total score of 114,000, her victory point being more than half of Bridgette’s. Kyla also took first place in the vault, with a double turn of 29.00. In March 2010 she finished second in the all-around at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Jesolo, Italy, with a total score of 56,700 points. In April 2010 she won a gold medal on vault with 15.100 points and a silver medal on uneven bars with 14.250 points and a floor routine with 14.200 points at the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
Kyla took third place in the all-around classification at the Cover Girl Classic in Chicago with 58.700 points, first on the balance beam with 15.250 points, fourth on vault with 15.200 points, and on uneven bars with 14.550 points. In September 2010 she again took part in the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico, and finished first in the all-around with 57.998 points and won the silver medal on the floor with 14.075 points. In the same match Kyla and her teammates, known as the “Fierce Five”, won the silver medal with almost 20 points. Kyla and her team participated in the 2012 London Olympics and won a gold medal.
