Her father, Petr Korda, and her mother, Regina Rajchrtová, were both golfers at a young age, with her father winning the title of Grand Slam champion; he won the crown in the 1998 Australian Open. Jessica also has a younger brother, Sebastian, who won the title at the 2018 Australian Open in the boys’ class.

Her parents gave her the name Jessica Kordová after she was born on 27 February 1993 in Bradenton, Florida. Although Korda is American, she is of Czech-Jewish descent.
