The film star was born Andrew James Matfin Bell on the 14th day of March 1986. Jamie was born in the English town of Billingham to British parents Eileen and her then-husband John Bell. As a child, Jamie did not see much of his father, who left home shortly before his birth. He was raised by his mother together with his older sister Kathryn.
As he grew up, Jamie often attended ballet classes with his sister, and this led to him developing a strong interest in the entertainment business. He completed his basic education at Northfield School & Sports College. Jamie also took acting classes at Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in the UK before starting his acting career.
