The stunning actress first entered this world on May 26, 1986, when she was born Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey in Barcelona, Spain. Her father is Spanish, while her mother is French and American. Astrid Bergès-Frisbey has two younger sisters with whom she grew up. The actress spent a few years growing up in Barcelona, and after her parents separated, she moved to France with her father at the age of 5. There she completed her basic training in a small town called La Rochelle.
During her high school years, Astrid was so talented that she actively participated in the dramas and plays organized by her school. Although she did not consider a career in acting at the time, Astrid later discovered that acting was all she could do best. After completing her training, she attended an acting school before she even started her career. Amazingly, Astrid is considered a polyglot because of her ability to speak several languages. Acting Career
Shortly after graduating from acting school, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey had her first film appearance in 2007, when she appeared in several episodes of the French TV series Sur le fil as well as in Divine Emilie. The following year the actress appeared on the big screen when she played the role of Suzanne in the film The Sea Wall. In the same year, Astrid also appeared in a drama called Equus and in the mini-series Elles et Moi. In 2009 she also appeared in films such as Extase, La Reine Morte, and La Premiere Etoile as well as in Bruc. El Desafio in 2010.

In search of a more challenging environment, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey joined the American film industry, and her first appearance was in the fantasy film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which will be shot in 2011 under the title Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. She played the role of the mermaid Syrena alongside Johnny Depp and Kevin McNally. The film became a box office hit and catapulted Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey into the limelight. In the same year, she also appeared in La Fille Du Puisatier.
Her next project was Sex of Angels, where she played the role of Carla in 2012. After that, in 2013, Astrid played the leading role of Juliette Karsenty in the film entitled Juliette.
