This film and television star was born on September 24, 1976, like Ian Stuart Bohen. He was born and raised in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a town in Monterey County, California. Information about his parents, his upbringing, and his early education is quite scarce. However, we do know that he has an older brother. It is also known that he started his acting career in the early 90s when he was still a teenager.

Ian Bohen made his acting debut in the short film Delivering (1993), in which he played the role of Jimmy Wakefield. His next film role was in the Oscar-nominated Biopic Wyatt Earp (1994), after which he starred in the horror music film Monster Mash (1995). He also portrayed the title character in the TV pilot Young Hercules (1998).

Bohen had a small role in the very successful action movie Pearl Harbor (2001), in which he appeared alongside a star-studded cast including Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, and Kate Beckinsale. He also had roles in the sci-fi comedy film Special (2006) and in the musical comedy Marigold (2007). He then starred in the thriller film Irreversi (2010), the English version of the Mandarin-language film Hui lu.

The talented actor received his first recurring role as Young Hercules in the action television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1997-98). He repeated the role of Young Hercules in the pilot of the spin-off series Young Hercules (1998) but was replaced by Ryan Gosling in the lead role because he decided not to move to New Zealand, where the series was shot.

Bohen received his next regular role in the series Any Day Now (1998-2001), in which he played the recurring character, Johnny O’Brien.
