Joe Tippett Biography

Joe Tippett was born on September 2, 1980, in New York City, New York. Although it is known that his parents are John Tippett and Amy Tippett, there is no publicly available information about how he was raised and what education he received.

As a growing child, the actor’s interest was not in acting the way one would naturally expect. Instead, it was the sport. However, when he was in high school, he had an English teacher who got him involved in acting, and since then there has been no turning back for him. And although he was very good at sports, so it would have been easy for him if he had wanted to go to college on a sports scholarship.

Joe was attracted to the theater, but once he returned home and saw Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf was on, he concluded that this was what he wanted to do. It is interesting to note that Joe Tippett returned home drunk that day.

For his education, he would later audition for a scholarship to West Virginia University, but he later left to work in Williamstown.

His Relationship With Sara Bareilles

The relationship between Joe Tippett and Sara relates primarily to their joint work on the 2016 Broadway show Waitress, which the singer wrote and also played the role of Jenna, while Joe took on the role of Earl Hunterson. However, this was not her first meeting. The first time they met was in 2015, when they tried out the same show outside the city in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the American Repertory Theater. That was the beginning of their love story.

Soon after they met, their friendship blossomed into an object. It was not until 2017, however, that they appeared together in public for the first time as a couple at this year’s Tony Awards.
