Wives and girlfriends of sports stars, turn their heads just as much as their famous, good-looking husbands/friends, and Erin Osweiler (née Costales), who signed up for life with former Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler on February 28, 2015, is no different.

The world is so interested in the lives of women like Erin that even a name (WAGS) was coined to describe her. Just being married to some professional athlete out there makes you officially a celebrity. While some (like Erin) stay right out of the limelight, others welcome fame with their arms wide open and even use it to further enhance their fame.

Erin Osweiler may be one of the silent ones (yh! she’s really secret, even her Instagram account is “private”), but there are still some facts about her that are worth knowing, so let’s start handing them out right away.

1. Erin Osweiler has been with her NFL star beau right from the start of his career.

Yeah! She cheered him up long before the NFL cheerleaders. The duo met before Brock’s NFL debut in 2012. As the story goes, they were formed by a mutual friend and it wasn’t long before they got together.

Brock took the relationship to the next level when he interviewed her at her home in Scottsdale. “It was incredibly sweet, perfect, and came from the heart,” Erin described the moment Brock got down on his knees!

2. About two years, after their wedding, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Blake Everly Osweiler.

Erin and her husband love children, as you can tell by the fact that they love to visit sick children – a glance at their Instagram page reveals everything. So we expected that their children would arrive soon. At the end of 2016, TMZ reported that Erin is baking her first baby, which is scheduled to arrive in April 2017. And it happened on April 9, 2017, when Brock went to his Instagram page to reveal her new arrival, a healthy little girl named Blake. Since then he has been displaying photos of her on his site.

3. It rained on their wedding day, but the couple still had a splendid wedding party.

Erin and Brock wanted their wedding to take place at their dream wedding location – the Silverleaf Club in Scottdale, Arizona. They enlisted the services of wedding planner Amy Mancuso, and she was sure she would make their wish come true. When an unexpected rainfall set in, Mancuso had everything covered as she had a spare tent erected for all 120 guests so that the wedding celebration could continue outdoors. “Our wedding planner saved the day!” Erin confessed to insider weddings.

or their first dance, the couple went to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”. The event also included a performance by Brock’s college coach, singing “Sweet Caroline.”

4. Mr. and Mrs. Osweiler had a little encounter with some haters in Scottsdale sometime in March 2016.

The Osweilers were enjoying themselves in a pizza shop called Joe’s Pizza in Scottsdale around 2 am on a Saturday morning when they were harassed by a group, including a man and a woman. The lady approached Erin aggressively when Brock pushed her away. In retaliation, the man shoved Brock in the back, but the NFL star turned around and safely led his family into the car, and drove away. It wasn’t clear what caused the situation, but Brock did well to walk away. Police officers on the scene later confirmed that no crime was committed. Nor did anyone press charges. TMZ has footage from that night.

5. Erin Osweiler isn’t only a pretty face, she happens to know a lot about football. She even helped her husband learn the Texans’ playbook after he signed that massive $72 million contract that would, unfortunately, become short-lived.

A few weeks after the pizzeria situation, Brock signed a $72 million contract with the Houston-based Texans, whereupon he was faced with the task of learning the Texan offensive. Well, with his helper nearby, it wasn’t too difficult for Brock to pull it off. After learning what the 18-page booklet had to say, Brock practiced with Erin, who served as offensive coordinator, while he read the whole piece to him.
