College Career

Professional Career

Sheldon Richardson saw his first NFL action in November 2013 as the beginning of the defense. In his first month, he won the NFL Rookie of the Month. In the next few games, he was moved to a fullback position and became the first NFL defensive player to score a rushing touchdown since 2011.

In the 2014 season, his good form and impressive playing style earned him a place in the Pro Bowl, and it was the first of his career. When his first contract expired in 2016, Sheldon Richardson was given a five-year option worth $8.06 million, which was fully guaranteed. As a result, Sheldon Richardson agreed to play another season for the New York Jets.
