Raheem Sterling Biography, Age

The attacking midfielder was born Raheem Shaquille Sterling on 8 December 1994 in the Jamaican city of Kingston. Although he grew up partly in his home country, he moved to England with his mother at the age of five.

His father, who was never present in the player’s early life, was murdered before Raheem was 10 years old. It was therefore his mother who raised him alone with a little help from relatives. He began his education at the Ark Elvin Academy before he decided to play football to the fullest.

Raheem Sterling has three siblings – a brother and two sisters. His brother is named Kingston Sterling, while his sisters are Kimberley Sterling and Lakima Sterling.

Club Football Career

As already mentioned the English player began his football career in 2003 with the Queens Park Rangers. He stayed there until he joined Liverpool in 2010 with whom he would achieve fame. In 2012 Sterling began his senior international career with the club scoring 18 goals after 95 caps before deciding to move to Manchester City.
