Kristen Bell was born on 18 July 1980 in Huntington Woods, Michigan. Her mother, Lorelei (née Frygier), is a registered nurse, and her father, Tom Bell, is an actor and also works as news director for CBS Television in Sacramento.

Her mother is of Polish descent, while her father (wait for it) is of English, German, Scottish and Irish descent. Bell certainly has a unique cocktail of bloodlines in him.

Her parents divorced when she was only two years old and she was the only child they had. Soon after their divorce, each of Bell’s parents remarried, earning their 6 half-siblings; 2 from her father’s second marriage and 4 from her mother’s.

She received her early education at Burton Elementary School in Huntington Woods, Michigan. For her high school education, Bell’s parents decided to take her out of the public school system. She attended Shrine Catholic High School in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was heavily involved in theater.

Her first film audition was for the animated musical Raggedy Ann and Andy in 1992, and she won the role. At the age of 13, she took acting lessons and also settled down with an agent. Bell was also cast in several newspapers and television commercials in her hometown.

After graduating high school, Bell moved to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she majored in musical theater. Before graduating, she left school to take a role in the Broadway production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. A year later she got a role in the Broadway production of The Crucible, which also featured Liam Neeson and Laura Linney.

Later that year Bell moved to Los Angeles and got several regular roles in television series. At the age of 24, she got the leading role in Veronica Mars, which made her rise to Hollywood fame. She was the narrator in 6 seasons of Gossip Girl and eventually appeared in the final episodes of the series. In January 2012, Bell was given the lead role in the Showtime comedy series House of Lies.

The main character, Princess Anna von Arendelle, sang Bell in the 2013 Walt Disney animation “Frozen”, which won an Oscar for “best-animated feature film” at the 86th Academy Awards.

Because of her good looks, she was voted “Best Looking Girl” by her senior class in 1998, the year she graduated from high school. Her senior class was right, and the pretty screen diva has kept her looks. One of her most remarkable roles was the lead role as a 17-year-old detective in Veronica Mars when she was 7 years older.

Bell was first voted PETA’s “Sexiest Vegetarian World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” in 2006 and then in 2013. The mother of two is currently 37 years old, although she doesn’t look a day over 20!

Kristen Bell Husband.

In 2007, Kristen Bell ended a five-year relationship with film producer Kevin Mann, who was her fiance at the time. Much later that year, Bell found love again and began dating her actor colleague Dax Shepard, who is also from Detroit. They had met at the birthday party of a mutual friend.

Bell and Shepard announced their engagement in January 2010. Three years later, the couple sealed their marriage on October 17, 2013, at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office. Their wedding was a very small and private ceremony.

Bell and Shepard starred in the film When In Rome in 2010, Hit and Run in 2012, and CHiPs in 2017. The couple also appeared in commercials for Samsung and Neutrogena.

They have two daughters: Lincoln Bell Shepard (born 2013) and Delta Bell Shepard (born 2014).

Children and Family

Kristen Bell gave birth to her first child at the age of 32, a daughter named Lincoln Bell Shepard on March 28, 2013, after 15 hours of labor using epidural anesthesia. Bell was 6 months away with her first child when she shot the second season of House of Lies. This was nicely hidden because a body double was used for most of the scenes showing her belly.

On December 19, 2014, she gave birth to her second child at the age of 34, a daughter, Delta Bell Shepard. She gave birth to Delta by cesarean section after a staggering 33 hours of labor. She returned to work 3 months after delivery to begin shooting Veronica Mars.

The proud mother of two has never shied away from sharing intimate details about her family and her relationship with her husband, Dax Shephard. Recently she reported some of her experiences as a mother in a new web series on EllenTube.

According to her, she had suffered a seizure of mastitis and had no opportunity to see a doctor at the time. Bell had to nurse her husband, Dax Shepard, to clear the affected milk ducts and get some relief. Because breast milk is probably not the tastiest drink in the world, this selfless act made Dax Shephard popular with his very grateful wife.

Kristen Bell has currently a net worth of about $20 million. Frozen, in which Bell played the main character Anna, is the most successful animated film ever made. The film has earned $1.3 billion to date – which has certainly contributed to Bell’s impressive net worth.

Bell also sang some of the film’s best-recorded songs, including Do You Want to Build a Snowman, For the First Time in Forever, Love is an Open Door, and For the First Time in Forever (Reprise). A sequel to the highly successful animated musical is currently in the works, so Bell’s impressive net worth is expected to increase shortly.
