Katie Daryl was born on June 7, 1984. Information about her early life and education is scarce, but she has revealed that her first experience in the media was working as a part-time radio DJ when she was a teenager.
After graduating from high school, she attended Arizona State University for her college education. During her studies, she continued to gain experience in the media industry, especially radio. She worked as a morning show producer for KISS-FM in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1998, she completed an internship with the Sports Fan Radio Network under the auspices of the Association for Women in Sports Media.
