Billie Catherine Lourd was born on July 17, 1992, in Los Angeles California. She is the daughter of actress Carrie Fisher and talent agent Bryan Lourd. Her grandparents are actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher. She has relatives like Todd Fisher Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher who are all involved in show business. Billie also has a sister named Ava who is legally adopted by her father from his marriage to Bruce Bozzi.

Billie Lourd started her acting career with a role as Lieutenant Connix in the Star Wars movie “The Force Awakens” in 2015. She auditioned for the lead role of Rey but Daisy Ridley got it instead. She continued in the Star Wars sequels “The Last Jedi” (2017) and “The Rise of Skywalker” (2019). In a touching moment, she even portrayed her late mother Carrie Fisher in a flashback scene using digital effects.
