Sam Pepper, one of the most controversial YouTubers we have in the industry today, may admit his mistakes in his chosen career, but he never let all those negative vibes destroy his craft.
With over 2 million subscribers flooding his channel with views, the British YouTube personality, video blogger, joker, and comedian, after the inappropriate sexual content and violence, his videos are notorious for, has done his fair share of hogging the headlines for the wrong reasons. Undeterred, Sam Pepper continued to flourish, but not without learning from his past mistakes and making a public statement until then. He also takes the time to apologize to his fans through his videos, maybe that’s what makes him stand out from the pack because it takes a lot of nerve to admit a mistake in public.
Who is Sam Pepper? His Age
Samuel Pepper is one of the best in his career as a YouTube personality, comedian, joker, and video blogger. The Internet star was born on 26 March 1989 in Ashford, Kent, and is of English and Greek descent. For his education, he studied at Pent Valley Technology College.
Apart from the fact that he has a brother and a sister, there is no information about his family and his childhood days. Nonetheless, one of the events that brought him into the limelight was his participation as a housemate in the eleventh season of the British reality television series Big Brother, which took place in 2010, the same year that he launched his YouTube channel. He was soon driven from the Big Brother house with 14.6% of the public vote. Apparently, the eviction was not so bad for him as he focused on his internet exploits and today he can boast and count over 2 million subscribers and 70 million video views.
He uploads videos that are mainly about funny pranks. Pepper and his friend Marius “Maz” Listhrop, who is also a counterpart, embarked on a worldwide comedy tour, “WDGAF Tour, which lasted from 2013 to 2014 when Pepper became embroiled in a controversy with sexual harassment charges after uploading his video titled “Fake Hand Ass Pinch Prank. The video shows women being pinched in the ass by Pepper without their consent, and this was not well received by some people. As if that weren’t enough for the controversial blogger, he came up with another video in 2015 called “Killing Best Friend Prank”. In the video, you can see Pepper with a masked face “shooting” Colby Brock in front of his friend Sam Golbach. As expected, social media were once again intoxicated, leading to more backlashes.
Based on a 20-minute video entitled “I’m sorry” in 2016, the YouTuber admitted its mistakes, including creating fake videos. Admittedly, most of his pranks were actually staged, for which he apologized and promised not to repeat this again. However, he did not admit to the sexual harassment and rape allegations, although he called himself an idiot for deceiving his viewers. Then he promised to continue uploading, but this time with better and better quality content. Then Sam Pepper pressed the pause button on his prank videos and switched to uploading vlogs to get rave reviews from the fans.
If you ask me, not many can pick up the pieces of their career like Sam Pepper and make a remarkable comeback.
Sam Pepper’s Relationship with Bella Thorne
In early 2017 Sam Pepper made the headlines again, but this time he took the actress Bella Thorne with him. The rumor mill was boiling after the “Shake it up” actress was seen in social media with the alleged sexual abuser. This happened after a series of snapshots of Bella and Sam Pepper hanging out together in a somewhat intimate way. One of the images Pepper shows in his snapshot story shows Bella admiring herself in front of a mirror with the words “You so pretty” written on it, while another photo suggests that the actress and Pepper were holding hands.
Bella’s fans took offense at her being with a man accused of abusing women and dragged her onto the streets of social media in return.
