Trae Waynes is now an established cornerback in the NFL after being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2015 edition of the NFL Draft. Trae Waynes were born on 25 July 1892 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and completed his high school education at a school in his birthplace. However, since his school, Harborside Academy, did not pursue a sports policy, the young Trae decided to study at Mary D. Bradford High School in the same city.

Waynes was a multisport personality who played football, basketball and running. He set an unforgettable sporting record, especially in 2010 when he was in his first year of high school. Trae was a player on the All-Southeast Conference’s first team in soccer, the All-County Honors’ first team in baseball, and the winner of the District Championship in indoor track for 60 yards and 220 yards sprints.
Trae Waynes accepted a scholarship to Michigan State University in 2011 and subsequently played for the college’s football team. In the 2015 NFL Draft, Trae Waynes were the 11th All-Big-Ten pick, snatching former Minnesota Vikings player Dewayne Washington as the highest-selected cornerback ever in the team’s history. After signing a four-year contract with the franchise, he experienced a relatively average rookie season for himself and the team. In the regular season, he played 14 games, only starting in one of them. Nevertheless, Trae managed to score 30 tackles and defend 4 passes.
His second season on the squad was no better. He started in the opening season of the Vikings instead of Xavier Rhodes, who was the cornerback of the team’s first choice. After a few weak performances, however, he saw his chances limited by the newcomer Mackenzie Alexander.
Finally, he repaid his contract in the 2017 season with an outstanding season. Waynes played all 16 games of the Vikings’ regular season and showed the highest value of his professional career with 65 tackles. He also defended 11 passes and made two interceptions. The team then retaliated against Trae Waynes by triggering the fifth-year clause that was in his contract on April 30, 2018.
