The singer recently had her first major performance after a year-long hiatus at what is arguably the most important football event in the United States – the Super Bowl. In her halftime show, she not only recovered her most successful songs but also announced her pregnancy. But not everyone celebrated the hot dance moves – some viewers found Rihanna’s performance far too lascivious!
As TMZ reports, almost 100 official complaints were received by the American TV authority during the 35-year-old’s performance. The choreography of the dancers was too provocative for most of them. “Children shouldn’t be exposed to pornography, and as an adult, I don’t want to see it,” reads a complaint seen by the source. But Riri herself was also criticized: Some didn’t like the fact that she was sexy between her legs: “She spread her buttocks,” said one critic severely.
Rihanna doesn’t seem to let the complaints throw her off course. A few days ago it was announced that after the Super Bowl performance, she will soon be back on a big stage: at the Oscars! As The Wrap announced, the music icon will sing her ballad “Lift Me Up” on March 12th. She was even nominated for an Oscar for the song “Black Panther”.
