Steve Harvey is an American Comedian, television host, producer, and actor born on January 17, 1957. He’s famous for hosting The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Family Feud, Celebrity Family, Feud Family, Feud Africa, a funny court show called Judge Steve Harvey, and he used to host the Miss Universe competition. He’s won seven Daytime Emmy Awards two Marconi Awards and fourteen NAACP Image Awards for his work.

Harvey started as a comedian in the 1980s then he hosted Showtime at the Apollo and had his sitcom called The Steve Harvey Show. In 2000 he was in a comedy movie called The Original Kings of Comedy. His last comedy show was in 2012. He’s been hosting Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud since 2010. He’s also been the host of shows like Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young, and Steve Harvey’s Funder Dome.

He’s written four books with one of them Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man being a bestseller in 2009. Broderick Stephen Harvey was born in Welch West Virginia on January 17, 1957. His dad worked as a coal miner and his mom’s name was Eloise Vera. Broderick got his first name from an actor named Broderick Crawford who was famous for a TV show called Highway Patrol.

When Broderick was a kid he had a serious stuttering problem. But he didn’t let that stop him. In sixth grade, he told everyone he wanted to be on TV when he grew up. His teacher didn’t think that was possible because of his stuttering. She made fun of him in front of everyone and even called his parents to complain.

Eventually, Broderick and his family moved to Cleveland Ohio. He went to Glenville High School and graduated in 1974. After high school, he tried going to Kent State University and West Virginia University. He joined a fraternity called Omega Psi Phi but never finished college.

Harvey had many different jobs before he became famous. He worked as a boxer a car factory worker an insurance seller a carpet cleaner and a mail carrier. He started doing stand-up comedy on October 8, 1985, at a club in Cleveland Ohio. In the late 1980s, he didn’t have a home and lived in his car for three years.
