Safaree Samuels is an American rapper, songwriter, and television personality born on July 4, 1981. He started his music career in the early 2000s as part of the hip hop group Hoodstars alongside rapper Nicki Minaj who he also started dating around that time. Safaree gained widespread attention when he joined the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in 2016.
He later moved back to his hometown New York City and became part of Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2017. Safaree Samuels began his music career in the early 2000s with a group called the Hoodstars alongside Nicki Minaj Loustar and Seven Up. One of their notable works was the theme song for WWE Diva Victoria featured on the album ThemeAddict: WWE The Music Vol. 6.
