Reuben Foster is a professional American soccer player who plays as a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers. He was named the winner of the Butkus Award 2016, a college award given to the nation’s best linebackers. Since then, he has set better records in the NFL and is not known for disappointing. Reuben Burdon Foster was born on April 4, 1994, in Roanoke, Alabama. His parents – Inita Berry Paige and Danny Foster – separated in a divorce when he was very young, about 18 months old. It was an ugly separation because his father (Danny Foster) had shot his mother (Inita Paige) while she was carrying him on her back. In 1996 Dany Foster was arrested and tried by a grand jury before fleeing the state. Later he was caught and taken to Randolph County, but he managed to escape again, and so he stayed in Miami, Florida for sixteen years with a new identity. After being on the run for so long, Danny was apprehended again and returned to Randolph County in Alabama, where he was brought to justice.

The star player began his high school education at Troup County High School, and there he was part of the school’s soccer team, so he was considered the best linebacker in his class. He remained on the team until his junior season when he announced his transfer to another school. One of the reasons he decided to change was because the team’s head coach was fired when it became known that he had paid a football player to leave his school to play for the Troup. Reuben later completed his transfer and enrolled at Auburn High School.

His performance at Auburn High School was exceptional, and he participated in the Under Armour All-American Game in 2013, where he also received the MVP of Defense award. His career in soccer was so outstanding that ESPN recognized him as a four-star recruit and he was said to be the best inside linebacker in his class.

He had made an oral commitment to play for Auburn University, but Reuben’s commitment declined after the school fired its head coach Gene Chizik and his assistant Trooper Taylor. By this time he had developed a special kind of bond with the coach, and the school’s decision to dismiss the coach from the team caused him to change his mind about playing for them. With a plethora of offers on the table for him, he decided to play for Alabama even though the chances of Georgia getting his signature were high.

College Football and Pro Career

Reuben Foster began his career at Alabam as a true rookie and played nine games (no starts) this season after his debut against Virginia Tech. He had his first start for Alabama in his second year, in which he also appeared as a linebacker in eleven improved games. The following season he was to become one of the best linebackers in college football and win the Butkus Award at the end of his senior year in 2016.

Reuben was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and agreed to a four-year contract with the franchise. He was hired as a replacement linebacker for Malcolm Smith, but this did not materialize because Smith sustained an injury in the team’s training camp, so Foster was named as the starting linebacker for the season.

Reuben Foster made his NFL debut in the San Fransisco 49ers’ opening game against the Carolina Panthers. The game ended without him, as he also suffered an injury in a duel with Christian McCaffrey. He was to sit out for five weeks but returned in week 7.

Elissa Ennis is the former girlfriend of Reuben Foster. She was born on February 22, 1990, and there is not much personal information about the girl, apart from the fact that she falsely accused Reuben Foster of domestic violence. Elissa had claimed that the footballer had beaten her and inflicted injuries on her. The case was submitted to the court for the hearing. In May 2018, Elissa testified in court, making a contradictory statement to the allegations and saying that Reuben Foster did not beat, hurt or threaten her.

She said she made up all the allegations of domestic violence just because her feelings were hurt when Reuben ended her relationship after she admitted to arguing with a woman who gave her the bruises on her body. Elissa also quoted that the assault charge was a ploy to get money out of the footballer. Her affair was ended, and Reuben Foster is not claimed to be dating or dating, for the time being, he is just focusing on his career and paternity.

He has a daughter named A’Zyia, who was born to him by the younger sister of former Auburn linebacker Tray Blackmon. A’Zyia was born in 2009, and there is no information about her, apart from her relationship with her father, which seems to be going very well.
