Rebecca Claire Miller Biography

Claire is a woman who has always stayed far away from the limelight, even when her husband was the president’s press secretary. As such, not much is known about her. What is known, however, is that Rebecca Claire Miller was born on September 23, 1971.

As far as her education is concerned, the earlier part is still unknown. She attended the University of the South Sewanee, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in art history, Studio Art. She also attended Indiana University Bloomington, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Telecommunications.

After leaving school, Rebecca, also known as Rebecca Miller Spicer, worked as a producer for KTRK-TV in Houston, Texas from 1999 to 2001. While retaining this position, she moved to Washington DC, where she worked at WJLA-TV for the next five years. Her next job was at the White House, where she served as Deputy Director of Communications.

She spent a year at the White House before continuing as Senior Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs for the National Beer Wholesalers Association. She has held this position since 2007.

After her hard work, she has been honored with several awards, including the American Society of Association Executives’ Rising Star Award, the Associated Press’ Outstanding Newscast Award, and an Emmy Award nomination following her coverage of the September 11, 2001 attack, and was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” public relations professionals in the United States by PR Week magazine.

Husband and Children

As already mentioned, the husband of Rebecca is Claire Sean Spicer. He also attended Naval War College and earned a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies.

Although he has been around political corners and played important roles, Spicer came to the fore in 2016 after President Donald Trump appointed him White House Press Secretary and later White House Communications Director.

His tenure was not without controversy. This was mostly after many of the man’s claims, which were seen as rather controversial or in some cases even factually untrue. This began with his first press conference, in which he strongly supported Donald Trump’s claim that the audience that attended his inauguration was the largest ever seen at an inauguration in the history of the country.

After much controversy surrounding his inauguration as a result of his attempts to defend the administration, he submitted his letter of resignation on July 21, 2017. The portrayal of his days in office by Melissa McCarthy on NBC’s Saturday Night Live program earned her an Emmy.
