Paris Hilton (42) and Carter Reum kept their baby’s happiness a secret for a long time, even from their families! The hotel heiress and the author became parents via surrogate mother in January. The name of her son is not yet known. Allegedly not even all relatives know the name of the little one. But Paris and Carter also kept the fact that they were even expecting a child under wraps long before they did.
“My whole life has been so public. I never had anything just for myself. We decided that we wanted to keep this whole experience to ourselves,” the 41-year-old explained in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. That’s why she only told her family about the birth shortly before the publication of her social media post, in which she had made her baby’s happiness public. So that no one else could find out about it prematurely, Paris even put on a brunette wig as camouflage in the hospital. She also told her co-workers that her house was being painted to keep her away.
Paris’ top priority now is for her son to feel safe. “I want to protect him and be with him every second. You have this maternal instinct that comes along that I never had before. I feel so complete now,” enthused the It girl.
