Miranda Lambert’s Early Life
Miranda Lambert was born on November 10, 1983, in Longview Texas. She grew up in Lindale Texas named after her great-grandmother Lucy Miranda. Miranda has a younger brother.
Her parents Rick and Bev Lambert met when Bev was at camp at Southern Methodist University. Rick at the time was an undercover narcotics officer on campus. They got together a few years later. Rick had been a Dallas police officer before that and played in a country-rock band called Contraband during the 1970s.
Later both became private detectives and even worked on the high-profile case involving President Bill Clinton’s impeachment. When Texas faced an economic downturn due to an oil crisis Miranda’s family lost everything.
