Markiplier is an American YouTube personality who began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. He became famous for his videos with game comments on YouTube.
Markiplier was born on June 28, 1989, in Honolulu, Hawaii, as Mark Edward Fischbach. His family later moved to Cincinnati, where he lived throughout his childhood and young adulthood. He spent most of his childhood playing in the woods with his brother Tom Fischbach before their father introduced them to the use of computers, which caught the attention of the boys who played video games like Super Nintendo for hours.
Mark was admitted to the University of Cincinnati to study biomedical engineering but dropped out to pursue an online career as YouTuber.
