Better known locally as Mandy Rose, the WWE fighter was born on July 18, 1991, in Westchester County, New York, as Amanda Rose Saccomann. She is of Italian descent but was raised by her parents together with her three older brothers in Westchester.

While she grew up as the youngest and only girl among three boys, she became very tough as she had to protect herself from becoming a punching bag for her brothers. She also grew up as a very athletic and performance-oriented child, playing sports like football, basketball, softball, and many others like dancing and gymnastics.
Mandy Rose received her early education at Yorktown High School, from where she moved to Iona College, majoring in speech pathology. In high school, she pressed for dancing, but when she reached high school, her focus shifted to fitness and bodybuilding, and she succeeded. Shortly after she left college in 2013, she became a world champion in beauty fitness & fashion bikini.
She began working professionally as a wrestler in 2015 after becoming a participant in the WWE Tough Enough Enough. Although she did not win the competition, she was still awarded a five-year contract with the company, after which she was sent to NXT. Since then she has continued in various fights.
