Maite Perroni is a Mexican actress and singer known for her roles in several Mexican telenovelas. Among the telenovelas in which she has appeared are Cachito de Cielo, Cuidado con el ángel, Rebelde, La Gata, Papá a toda madre, Triunfo del Amor, Antes muerta que Lichita and Mi Pecado. She has received several awards for her work on Antes muerta que Lichita.
Although she was quite popular at first, her popularity grew and she gained international recognition when she became a member of RBD, a Latin Grammy-nominated pop group. Maite Perroni Beorlegui was born in Mexico City on March 9, 1983, the daughter of Javier Perroni and Maite Beorlegui. Although born in Mexico City, the actress grew up in Guadalajara until her family returned to Mexico City at the age of twelve.
