Liam Hemsworth was born in Melbourne Australia. His mom Leonie Hemsworth teaches English and his dad Craig Hemsworth works in counseling. He has two older brothers Chris Hemsworth and Luke who are also actors. Their family roots include Dutch English Irish Scottish and German ancestry.
