Lea Gabrielle Potts, popularly known as Lea Gabrielle, was born in 1975 in Alexandria, Virginia, in the United States of America as the daughter of white parents. Details of the names of his parents and whether she had siblings or not are publicly known, but there are more interesting things about her that will make up for this.
Lea completed her high school education at Mount Vernon High School in Fairfax County Virginia. At school, she was a finalist in the Westinghouse Science Talent Search. Hereby we would like to inform you that she was already a serious student in high school. No wonder her career was successful.
Lea Gabrielle’s Career
She graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and subsequently entered active service with the Navy. From 1998 to 2000, Gabrielle was a student at the U.S. Naval Flight School at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida, where she earned her Naval Air Wing rating and became a fighter pilot. She also earned a qualification with an instrument rating as a commercial pilot.
She served the U.S. for 12 solid years as a Naval Officer – as a fighter pilot of the single-seat F/A-18 “Hornet”, with combat duty from USS George Washington, known under the call sign “Flower”. Other duties that she performed as a Naval Officer included those of a Landing Signal Officer, a Squadron Public Affairs Officer, an Officer of Intelligence Operations during Operation Enduring Freedom, and while serving in Afghanistan, she was assigned a Navy SEAL unit that conducted key intelligence operations for the base. During her service, she also served as a foreign liaison officer with an interest in journalism.
Although she was an active fighter pilot and an experienced naval officer who had completed several missions assigned to her, Lea had a penchant for journalism and was determined to pursue the noble profession.
When she left the Navy, she attended the New York Film Academy in 2009, where she received a certificate in digital journalism. With this, she worked from 2010 to 2011 for NBC News in Wahington D.C. Her responsibilities here were writing, editing, producing, and packaging news content for NBC Nightly News, N websites, web spots, and The Today Show.
At various times she conducted interviews for the White House, political correspondents, and the Nightly News. She interviewed former President Barrack Obama, the GOP presidential candidate and the first female governor in Afghanistan.
Towards the end of 2011, she moved to San Diego, California, and worked as a military reporter for the popular television station KNSD-TV (NBC 7). During her time here, Malaysian Airlines’ missed flight was all over the news and she lived up to the report. She worked for KNSD-TV for only 2 years before joining Fox News Channel as a New York City correspondent in December 2013. In addition to the Fox News Channel, she is currently also working for Shepard Smith Reporting as a reporter on a general assignment.
