The amazing actress Kathrin Romary Beckinsale was born on July 26, 1973, in Chiswick, London, England. She was the only child of her parents, her mother Judy Loe, who is an actress, and her father, Richard Beckinsale. She has an older stepsister on her father’s side named Samantha Beckinsale, who is also an actress.
Kate lost her father Richard to a heart attack when she was five years old. This led to her anorexia (an eating disorder) at the age of 15, after which she underwent Freudian psychoanalysis for four years.
