Justin Roiland is an American dubbing artist, but that’s not all he’s known for; the man is equally famous as an animator, author, producer, and director. His work has appeared in short films, video games, web series, and television productions. He is the co-creator and executive producer of the award-winning animated series Adult Swim and Rick and Morty. He is also known for his vocal work in Fish Hooks and The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti.
Justin Roiland Biography
The superstar animator was born on February 21, 1980, in Stockton, California. He grew up in Manteca, California. Justin was born with dyslexia. He attended Sierra High School, where he studied until the first quarter of his senior year. For the rest of his senior year, Justin studied at Manteca High School, which he graduated from in 1998. He then transferred to Modesto Junior College in California.
The exceptionally talented dubbing artist spent his childhood on an almond grove in Manteca. Justine clearly showed an early artistic inclination. As a child, he says, he enjoyed watching the Ren & Stimpy, Show. The cartoon-loving child has now become one of Hollywood’s rare singing talents, comedians, and cartoon creators.

Despite his dyslexia, the workaholic has excelled in television, film, cartoons, and all-digital entertainment. During Comic-Con International 2014 in San Diego, the talent crowd said that American animator Pendleton Ward was his main motivation for entering the world of animation.
In 2004 Justin Roiland went to Los Angeles to work with Channel101, a media channel in L.A. owned by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab. On Channel101 he starred in short films like 2 Girls One Cup: The Show, House of Cosbys, Acceptable TV, and the series Yacht Rock, where he played a small Christopher Cross role as a musician. Justin appeared from time to time in Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program in the role of Blond Craig.
The star began making cartoon creations and singing on his own. He is known for the cartoon Rick & Morty, which he created and produced together with Dan Harmon. Justin turned the two main characters of the cartoon. The dubbing actor proved his excellent skills by clearly expressing the two separate characters alongside the other characters in Rick and Morty. Since 2010, Justin has hosted the podcast “The Grandma’s Virginity” together with Ryan Ridley and Jackie Buscarino.
The digital producer makes these great cartoons and video games from the comfort of your own home. However, in 2016 Justin Roiland founded Squanchtendo (Squanch Games), a virtual reality studio that will serve as a combination of Nintendo and the Rick and Morty character Squanchy. Justin has developed other video games such as Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations, Accounting, Job Stimulator, The Lab, Lawbreakers, Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-Ality, and others.
Under his belt, Justin Roiland has worked or participated in 4 short films, 18 television productions, 3 web series, and 11 video games. Rick and Morty, his most prominent TV production to date, earned him the Critic’s Choice Television Award 2018 for Best Animated Cartoon Series, the Annie Award 2018 for Best Animated Television/Shortline Production for a Broad Audience, and several nominations in recent years. His recent TV animated series include Hot Streets and Robot Chicken.
Girlfriend, Wife, Sisters
In 2016, Justin publicly said in an interview that he was considering dating and then marrying, after having focused so much on his work in recent years. According to unconfirmed reports, the brilliant animator has had a tough breakup in the past and has not been seen with any known girlfriend since. However, as much as he is willing to try, Justin categorically stated that he did not want his personal (dating) life to interfere with his professional life in any way. In 2013 he was associated with Abi Lyn Maley. What we know to the best of our knowledge is that Justin is not yet married.

Justin Roiland has a sister, Amy Roiland, with whom he grew up in Stockton. She’s an actress and founder of Fashion/Social Networking. Amy was born in 1984. She is said to be the Hollywood double of Anne Hathaway. The equally creative fashion entrepreneur like her brother is also known for her acting work with Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie, 2 Girls, 1 Cup: The Show, and Young Stephen Hawking.
