The brilliant actress was born on August 30, 1992, as Jessica Yu Li Henwick in Surrey, England. She has British citizenship and mixed ethnic background. As a child, Jessica had the dream of becoming an actress when she grew up. She then enrolled at the National Youth Theater and Redroofs Theatre School, where she trained as an actress.
As a teenager, Jessica had her first film appearance in 2009 in the role of Bo in the BBC television series Spirit Warriors.
