Jared’s recent marriage to an actress is not a surprise, given the fact that celebrities often marry within their own circles. After all, Supernatural has been on air since 2005 and with all the supernatural activity portrayed in this show, it may have made it difficult for Jared to meet potential partners outside of his co-starring cast. Thus, Sam Winchester’s union was expected by many fans of the series.

Her name is Genevieve Nicole Cortese also known as Genevieve Padalecki and she had a recurring role in Supernatural as Demon Rubin. This was probably the beginning of her journey on the way to Jared Padalecki’s wife. Don’t get yourself wrong when it comes to titles and roles she is more than just Jared Padalecki’s wife.

Kris Furillo, best known for her recurring role in the TV series Wildfire, has achieved a great deal on her own. Her special relationship with Wildfire the horse is particularly noteworthy; by rescuing Kris from slaughter and training her to be a master racehorse, this bond was truly unique.

Anyway back to the love story that’s brewing. The two met on Supernatural’s set for the fourth consecutive season. One thing led to another and the two started dating but it wasn’t until 2009 that Jared decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Padalecki turned out to be very romantic when he finally asked the question. According to Heavy in October 2009 he proposed to Cortese to stand in front of her favorite painting at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. In January 2010 the couple officially announced their Engagement.

So on February 27, 2010, in Genevieve’s hometown which is Sun Valley Idaho they tied the knot and 7 years later, they seem to be doing pretty well. Of course Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles was a best man.

The star has two children both boys with his wife Genevieve. First, they had Thomas Colton Padalecki on Monday, March 19, 2012. Their lovely four-year-old looks are as happy as ever. When they first announced that they were expecting their first child the Padalecki’s decided to do something very interesting.

The star and his wife have announced a special fundraiser for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with the goal of making the world a brighter place for those in need. On March 4th, they announced that all donations collected until their bundle of joy arrives would be matched dollar-for-dollar by them. This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children suffering from illness or disease; let’s come together as fans and show our support!

The fans raised over $40000 in cash for the hospital and remained true to their word as they kept it. Next on December 22 2013, the couple welcomed their second child Austin Shepherd Padalecki. Both brothers have a Facebook fan club and are the sweetest mini-celebrities out there.

Here is some more good news for the Padalecki family the trio is about to become a quartet. Yes, there is another baby on the way. The Supernatural star revealed the good news of Live! With Kelly. That’s what he said when I started the show [Supernatural] I was 22 years old I was single I did my thing now I’m 12 years older I’m the father of two now in March I’ll be the father of three children”.

Jared always knew he wanted to settle down and start a family in Austin Texas. He did exactly that in 2012 when he and his wife Genevieve Cortese Padalecki moved into a 10,600 square meter building. Texas Lodge. First of all the couple decided to transform the house into a child-friendly environment.

That doesn’t mean they live in a playhouse of course but the couple tried to find a refined yet comfortable look. So for the general design of the house, they opted for a rural theme and built in many large couches to make the house more comfortable and relaxed.

Some people love abstract artwork of a self-portrait hanging on one or two walls. The Padalecki’s were more sentimental in this respect. The couple framed copies of their son’s footprints hanging on their walls among other remarkable memorabilia.

Jared expressed that he finds solace in his home office, which he affectionately refers to as the “men’s cave”. He noted that it is his go-to spot when arriving home and a place where he can enjoy some alone time with bourbon and guitar. It provides him with an escape from everyday responsibilities, allowing for moments of freedom. Everyone understands the need for their own space from time to time; Jared certainly appreciates this privilege within his own abode.
