The comedian was born on 7 July 1988 in Westminster in central London. He attended Tower House School in East Sheen in West London before going to Dragon School, Oxford, and Marlborough College. During his childhood, he developed an interest in comedy, and as a teenager, he met comedian Jack Dee, whom he considers a hero in this field.

Whitehall’s comedy career officially began when he performed at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, having qualified the previous year by winning the sketch show Comic Abuse. His film appearances include The Bad Education Movie, Mother’s Day, in which he appeared as Zack Zimm, Asterix: The Castles of the Gods, in which he played a dubbing role for the character of Asterix, and the film The Nutcracker And The Four Realms as Harlequin.
