“Never Say Never” should be the mantra of Noah Brown, if he has one. Noah Brown had to deal with two serious injuries in high school and college, one each. But that didn’t stop him from not losing sight of his goal – playing in the NFL.

After two seasons in college, Noah Brown waived two years of his college eligibility and declared his entry into the 2017 NFL Draft, a decision that raised many eyebrows. The Dallas Cowboys came for him and voted him into the 7th round of the overall selection, finishing 239th. Here you can find everything you need to know about the Wide Receiver.

Thanks to Brown’s contributions, his team managed to reach the final of Group 3 of the non-public league. He was honored with the “Newark Star-Ledger All-New Jersey” award. His high school stats of 3,000 all-purpose yards and 42 touchdowns attracted the attention of many of his peers, including Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, and USC.

For his college career, Noah Brown was committed to Ohio State University. In his first season, he played 13 games but only caught one pass. During spring training, Noah was an exceptional player and it looked like he would fight his way to the wide receiver starting line, but his hopes were dashed by a leg injury that fractured his left tibia and fibula.

Noah had to undergo two surgeries to get his leg fixed and as a result, he was dressed in red throughout the 2015 season. In 2016 he returned as a sophomore and played 13 games with a total of 402 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 32 receptions, earning him second place on the team. In the third game of the 2016 season against Oklahoma, he impressed the scouts very much, scoring a total of 5 passes for 72 yards. His 4 touchdowns from that game earned him a school record.

Noah Brown gave up his two-year college eligibility and joined the 2017 NFL Draft. The wide receiver announced his intentions in early 2017 in a statement on his personal Twitter account. “I have decided that it is time for me to move on to the next level,” he wrote. His decision was one of the biggest surprises of the Buckeyes post-season for many reasons, including the fact that he had just one year of experience as a starter.

First, he trained in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, and later in the Ohio State Pro Day. Noah Brown was selected in round 7, one round higher than predicted by experts and scouts.

The cowboys signed a four-year contract with him on May 11, 2017, worth $2.47 million with a signing bonus of just over $70,000. Noah played 13 games with 1 start in his rookie season. He recorded 4 receptions for 33 receiving courts.
