A University of Georgia player and recruiting staffer were killed in the mishap. According to a source Jalen was reportedly street racing with a Georgia staffer before the staffer’s car collapsed into telephone poles.
In a news release issued on Wednesday police stated that they are aggressively looking for Carter to be arrested on charges of reckless driving and racing.
This is an important part of their ongoing investigation into the tragic accident that killed Chandler LeCroy a devoted Georgia recruiting staffer and Devin Willock.

UGA Star Jalen Carter Accused of Being Linked To Accident That Killed Teammate
Jalen Carter a University of Georgia defensive lineman is facing reckless driving and racing charges in association with a crash that killed teammate Devin Willock and teammate Chandler LeCroy.
Jalen was also at the scene of the accident and left before emergency personnel came. According to toxicology tests LeCroy had a blood alcohol concentration of.197 at the time of the accident which is more than twice the legal limit in Georgia.
Willock and LeCroy’s outcomes were tragically different. While Willock was forcibly ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene from his injuries LeCroy originally survived the crash but died later at the hospital.
This serves as a sobering reminder of the disastrous effects of reckless driving and the importance of driving responsibly.
