Hugh Jackman’s Early Life and Education
Hugh Jackman was born in Sydney Australia to Grace and Christopher Jackman. His dad was a smart accountant who studied at Cambridge University. They moved from England to Australia in 1967 under a program called “Ten Pound Poms.” Because both of his parents were from England Hugh got British citizenship too. One of his great-grandfathers was Greek and his family was very religious becoming Christians after hearing Billy Graham.
Hugh grew up with four older siblings and a younger half-sister. His parents split when he was eight and he stayed in Australia with his dad and brothers while his mom went back to England with his sisters.
