On September 16, 1981, Fan Bingbing was born in Qingdao, Shandong, China as the son of Fan Tao and Zhang Chunumei. The actress has a brother – Fan Chengchen, who is also active in the entertainment industry. She graduated from both the Shanghai Xie Jin Film and Television Academy and the Shanghai Theater Academy.
